Project Summary
I set out to design a logo and brand values for a film production company named Tindora. Researching into civet species across Asia to find the species right for the logo, looking at the current logos in the market and finding a gap in the market suitable.
The problem I set out to solve was to create a brand that puts the fans first, as film promotions for films are all the same and boring, the fans need to get involved in order to be able to build a stronger connection with the film, to help sell a film and to engrain the memories of getting involved forever.
A24 being a big inspiration, it is a new production company that has been on an astronomical rise over the last decade and their customer shop is far better then any other, their merchandise is thoughtful and they go the extra mile for that.
Regarding designing the film posters I researched film posters designed in 2025, and there is a lot of repetition when showcasing. Firstly steering away from the floating head posters, and creating something subtle yet plays a considerable role with the feelings, meanings and style of the film. With the smashing machine poster being influenced by work done in the 1990s. And creating a concept of a MMA fight set up by THE SMASHING MACHINE, with the logo in the middle and the cast being in attendance and creating a campaign that the fans will never forget.
